Context: A practitioner of TM is one who attempts to transcend human limitation to reach a god conscious state.
Friend: I practice TM and I feel like I am in a box waiting to break open the lid to connect with the cosmos to be united.
YS: I felt the same way when I practiced TM. But what I have found now is that God wants to come inside the box, instead of us going out.
Friend: My wife is a Catholic, but I have not heard it explained that way.
YS: In fact, the Bible indicates that Jesus is knocking on the lid and it is up to us to respond to it and open the lid to allow him in and be permanently united with Him.
